Our 17th Annual Art show includes various works by forty residents and employees, all focused on fiber arts, from quilting and knitting to dresses and pillowcases. In addition, there will be demonstrations on weaving, hand-quilting, and spinning. A video loop highlights various fiber arts from around the world. Megan Prince, local artist, will work with donated fabrics to complete a community art project, “Woven Together.” Residents and staff are invited to contribute to this piece by participating in the hand-looping of pre-cut materials that Prince will then weave into one of her striking signature fiber art masterpieces.
