The Horizon House Board of Trustees

Horizon House is governed by a local, independent Board of Trustees composed of 10 to 15 members from the greater Seattle community and current Horizon House residents. Three of these board positions are held by voting resident members, an unusual governance structure that ensures the people who live here have a direct voice in major decisions.

The Board ensures Horizon House remains financially stable and strategically sound while working in close collaboration with the Executive Team on daily operations. They bring diverse expertise across healthcare, finance, nonprofit leadership, and lived experience as residents. Together, they uphold the values that define us: inclusivity, engagement, and a resident-led approach to community life.
