In September, Horizon House welcomed some new staff. This is an opportunity for our readers to have a chance to get to know some of our newest faces.
Carlye Skinner is Horizon House’s new Communications Associate. Carlye is a marketing & communications professional with a passion for customer relations. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology and immediately joined the Marketing & Communications field at El Gaucho Hospitality. Her work as the Marketing Assistant included social media strategy, online customer relations, and management of the charitable giving program. She then joined The Fearey Group, a small public relations firm in downtown Seattle, as an Executive Assistant. She wore many hats during her time at The Fearey Group that spanned from website management to all office administration tasks.
You will always find Carlye with a cup of coffee in her hand and a smile on her face. When not at work she enjoys photography, spending time with her family (especially her newest nephew, Orion) and watching TV with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Piper.
Krystyna Soltysiak has joined the team as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Horizon House’s Clinic. Krystyna received her Masters of Science degree from the George Washington University Medical School/George Mason University Nurse Practitioner program in Washington D.C. She interned at the Department of Defense in the Pentagon Navy Annex, worked as a registered nurse and as the acting coordinator of the bone marrow transplant program at the George Washington Cancer Center outpatient clinic, and served as Head Nurse Practitioner at the Columbia University Student Health Center in New York City. After moving to Seattle, Krystyna worked at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Microsoft Health Clinic, as well as Emerald Heights and Timber Ridge. Krystyna is member of the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is fluent in Polish.
We are excited to welcome Carlye and Krystyna!
