Horizon House Celebrates Life and Legacy of Jean Sadis

On June 30, family members Harvey Sadis and Harriet Cody returned for a second year with the Dirty Dog Hot Dog Cart to celebrate former Assisted Living resident Jean Sadis’ birthday. This event, on what would have been Jean’s 103rd birthday, was a final thank you from Harvey and Harriet to the entire Horizon House staff across departments.

Binyam Wolde, a long-time Horizon House valet, is the owner of The Dirty Dog Hot Dog Cart and was honored to be back celebrating Jeans’ life. The cart was set up outside of Horizon House on the Terry Avenue sidewalk for all staff to grab a delish hot dot throughout the afternoon.

Harvey and Harriet attended the event in person to thank each staff member. The celebration was enjoyed the entire Horizon House community who were touched by Jean during her time at Horizon House. Thank you to all who helped coordinate this event.
