Horizon House Celebrates 2017 with Look Book

Horizon House’s 2017 Look Book focuses on our resident-driven community, as well as brilliant staff. We strayed from the traditional Annual Report to bring you a Look Book, which utilizes fantastic photos and personal testimonials from residents and staff to showcase the Horizon House community.

Below are some Bright Spots from 2017 at Horizon House:

  • People want to live here: Horizon House was 100% occupied four times in 2017.
  • Residents care about the community: In 2017’s Resident Satisfaction Survey, 99% of Horizon House residents said they would recommend Horizon House to a friend.
  • People want to work here: In 2017, Horizon House reached the $15 minimum wage three years ahead of schedule and 87 new employees joined Horizon House.
  • People give where they live and work: Because of generous gifts from residents and staff, 14 residents benefited from our Residents Assistance Fund, six GEM grants helped enhance the quality of life at Horizon House, and 12 staff obtained scholarships through the Employee Education Fund.
